Guests gather on the Lone Pine Lawn as we exchange our vows beneath the open sky at Vaucluse House.

Celebrate with champagne and canapés as the golden-hour light washes over the estate gardens.

Guests are invited to the Vaucluse Restaurant for a spectacular evening of dinner, speeches, and dancing.

A Place of Timeless Beauty

Vaucluse House is one of Sydney's most treasured historic estates — a Gothic Revival sandstone mansion set within 27 acres of romantic gardens on the harbour foreshore.

Built in the early 1800s, this extraordinary property carries a sense of history, grandeur, and natural beauty that makes it the perfect setting for our celebration.

Ceremony

The Lone Pine Lawn

Our ceremony will take place under the spreading branches of historic trees on the Lone Pine Lawn, a peaceful sanctuary secluded by lush vegetation.

Please arrive from 3:30 PM to be seated. The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM. Follow the marked pathways from the main entrance gates.

Footwear Tip The ceremony is on grass, so block heels or flat shoes are recommended for comfort.

Wet Weather In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will move indoors to the estate's historic ballroom.

Celebration

The Pleasure Gardens

After the ceremony, wander through the historic pleasure gardens. Enjoy champagne and canapés while we take photos around the estate's beautiful sandstone features.

The gardens feature winding paths, a running creek, and towering trees, providing a romantic backdrop for our celebration and beautiful photo opportunities.

Refreshments Champagne, local wines, signature cocktails, and delicious canapés will be served.

Is there parking at Vaucluse House?

Yes, on-site parking is available at Vaucluse House. We also strongly recommend rideshare (Uber, DiDi) for the evening — Uber pickup is available from the main gate on Wentworth Road.

Can I bring children?

Our wedding will be an adult-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can arrange a special night off — you deserve it!

What should I wear?

Black Tie — think elegant, glamorous, and a little extra to match the occasion. We love the idea of colour, so bonus points for bold or beautiful pops of colour in your outfit.

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Yes! Our ceremony will take place on the beautiful Lone Pine Lawn at Vaucluse House. Being a summer wedding in December, we're expecting a warm and beautiful Sydney afternoon. We'll have a wet weather contingency plan in place just in case.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by 1st August 2026 so we can finalise numbers with our venue and caterers. We'd love to have you there, so please don't leave it too late!

Will there be a gift registry?

Your presence is truly the greatest gift. If you'd like to contribute something, we'll be sharing registry details closer to the date. A card with a heartfelt message means the world to us.

Are there dietary options available?

Absolutely. Please note any dietary requirements — vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or allergies — in your RSVP form and our team will ensure you're well taken care of throughout the evening.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We're having an unplugged ceremony — we ask that guests keep phones away so everyone can be fully present. Our photographer will capture every beautiful moment. Cocktail hour and reception are phone-friendly!
